This is a preliminary list of positions for our community-based and community-driven organization. Please contact us at contact@vancouverdungeon.com if you are interested in being a part of this new society.
Note that the Vancouver Dungeon Steering Committee members and those involved in planning the October 6 party are not necessarily fulfilling the same positions once the board is elected and the society is officially incorporated.
Executive Board (to be elected at the September 25th Annual General Meeting)
- Chair

Other Positions (may be elected by the membership or appointed by the board)
- Volunteer Coordinator - An outgoing person, who’s able to recruit, maintain and manage volunteers for group events.
- Party Coordinator - A person with attention to detail, with experience planning play parties.
- Decorations/Atmosphere – An aesthetic-minded person who takes thrill in arranging décor so that the parties feel like, well, parties.
- Vending/Snacks person – A detail oriented, business-minded individual to run snack services during events when the venue doesn’t provide them.
- Tech officer/Webmaster – A tech-savvy person responsible for the upkeep/maintenance of website, implementing changes to the website. Also administers mailing lists.
- Publicist - Manage the public image for the group, crafting press releases for media and general public. Also spreading the word about upcoming events through online communities, and increasing awareness about the group to those who might be interested in kink and other sex positive activities.
- Advocate/Ombudsman – An individual who’s knowledgeable in the legal field, in addition to community services and other resources that relate to sex-positive culture.
- Ambassador/Greeter – An outgoing person responsible for attending events and greeting new attendees, answering any questions about the group and general kink, and being able to approach new attendees and welcome them to events. This person would also be responsible for responding to e-mails from interested attendees.

Someone told me that BIO had a stash of books - that there used to be a Vancouver Dungeon Library. Are those books still around? Will there be a Van Dungeon Librarian?
If there will be some kind of library for Van Dungeon, I’d like to help with it.
